RECOGNITION:
Tracy’s integrated marketing materials and packaging have long been recognized for outstanding achievement. Employing her diverse palette of international experience and design influence her work has been recognized in Communication Arts and British Art Directors annuals and has been published in various books such as 1,000 Record Covers (Taschen) and Music Graphics (PIE Books, Tokyo). Tracy’s George Harrison art piece in the Michael Ochs exhibit “The Best Album Covers That Never Where” toured galleries across the country, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

PRESENT:
Founder and Creative Director of Creative Portal (formerly Tracy Veal Design), a full service agency for creative direction and design.  Services include: advertising, corporate identity, websites, packaging solutions, 3-D point of purchase displays, books, branding, product films, billboards, film posters, brochures, collateral, film title sequences, exhibition booths and more. Prior to founding her own business, Tracy worked at MCA records as an in-house Art Director. She has also lived and worked in London and NYC.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Proven track record as a Creative Director: Built a full-service agency with clients such as Universal Pictures, Sony Music Entertainment and Publishing, Warner Bros Records, Virgin Records, Random House, Twentieth Century Fox Interactive, Disney, Discovery Channel Multimedia, NBC and many more. Tracy understands the importance of eye-catching, strategic, innovative and effective advertising and design from both sales and brand identity perspectives and thrives on creative challenges. Extensive experience writing proposals, directing photo shoots, working with illustrators, art directors, copywriters, and inspiring designers. She clearly articulates conceptual designs – visually, verbally and in writing.

FLEXIBILITY:
Tracy has worked in corporate environments as a consulting in-house Creative Director at Sony Music Entertainment, A&M Records and NBC Universal; excels at overseeing, collaboration, and meeting deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously. Her creative vision is fueled by lifelong fascinations with art, typography, product and graphic design; strengthened by personal interests in science, architecture, fashion, and music.

Tracy has nurtured and trained many young designers who went on to become successful art directors or designers at major companies. She thrives in collaborative environments and greatly enjoys inspiring co-workers by initiating unique and appropriate ideas.

EDUCATION:
Graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta in Communication Arts and continued education in computer graphic courses at UCLA. Previous guest lecturer at the prestigious, Otis Parsons School of Art, in Los Angeles and the Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California.
